You will enjoy this flavorful chicken dish.  The different elements come together nicely for a rich unique taste.


2 broilers halved

1 cup sauterne wine

3 Tbs chopped green onions

3Tbs chopped parsley

1/4 cup melted butter

Sea salt, pepper and paprika to taste

3/4 cup small whole muchrooms


Marinate chicken halves in wine  for several hours in refrigerator.

Pour wine from chicken

To wine add onions, parsley and butter

Salt and pepper chicken, sprinkle with paprika, and place skin side down in shallow baking dish

Pour wine mixture over and bake in  at 450 for 25 minutes, basting often

Turn skin side up, add mushrooms, and continue baking for 20-25 minutes  or until tender and brown.
